I'm Kyle — a senior product designer specializing in design systems, token architecture, and the AI-augmented workflows that let a systems team punch above its weight. For the past six years I've led systems work through pre-IPO readiness, rebrands, and org doublings.

I care about the parts of product work that don't show up in a screenshot — the components two teams agree to share, the documentation that outlasts the designer who wrote it, the naming, the changelog, the small decisions that compound.

My work cuts two ways. I author the strategy — component architecture, token structure, governance, documentation systems — and I ship the tooling that makes it real: Next.js reference sites, a pre-implementation preview tool, Figma MCP and Claude Code pipelines that translate proposals into running code. The design and the delivery are the same craft.

At Apollo.io I'm leading the design systems work through the company's IPO-readiness transition — a rebuilt Fabric component library, a modernized token layer, and a three-surface documentation strategy (Foundations site, Notion reference, Pre-Implementation Preview Tool). Scope spans 18 designers, 50+ engineers, and 6 feature teams.

Before Apollo, I led Chirp at Chewy through its 1-to-2 arc — 70+ designers, 900+ engineers, 20M MAUs, four brand themes, Chewy's first international launch — and before that I built Slick! from zero at Modern Message.
